JASON M. BRADLEY: IAAI-CFI – Harrison, AR

Jay Bradley is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, as well as a Certified Fire Investigator, Fire Inspector, and Fire Service Instructor through the Missouri Division of Fire Safety. Jay has more than 20 years of experience in the fire service and has served as a firefighter and a lieutenant for the Western Taney County Fire Protection District and a training officer, operations officer, shift officer, investigator, and battalion chief for the Ozark Fire Protection District. With more than 14 years of accumulated experience examining fire scenes, Jay has conducted more than 500 fire investigations within the boundaries of his response area.

Jay has a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with minors in pre-MBA and Fire Administration from Western Illinois University. He is a retired member of the International Association of Firefighters and a current member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Arkansas Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators, and the Missouri Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.

 

STEVEN P. RHODES: IAAI/CFI, NAFI/CFEI – Siloam Springs, AR (Greater Fayetteville Area)

Steve Rhodes is a court-qualified expert witness, a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators and a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators. Steve has several years of experience conducting fire and arson investigations. He has served with the Tulsa Fire Department for over 25 years and is currently an assistant fire marshal and fire investigator for the department. Steve has also served as a firefighter, training officer, fire equipment operator, and fire captain. Coupled with his fire service experience, Steve is a graduate of Northeastern State University and Tulsa Community College, where he earned an Associate of Science in Fire Protection. He is also a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Oklahoma Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association, and the International Association of Firefighters.

 

JEFF J. HALER: IAAI-CFI – Memphis, TN

Jeff Haler is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators. He has over 30 years of experience in the fire service. During his career, Jeff has held the ranks of Training Officer, Captain, Fire Service Instructor, Fire Engineer, Fire Officer, and Fire Marshal. He has also been a private fire investigator since 2010. Jeff has served in leadership roles in the Iowa Chapter of the IAAI and served as the president of the chapter from 2017 to 2018. Jeff holds an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University as well as a degree in Auto Mechanics from Northeast Iowa Community College. He is a court qualified expert witness in the State of Iowa.

 

J. TODD SOONG: IAAI-CFI // NAFI-CFEI – St. Louis, MO

Todd Soong is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, as well as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. Todd has more than 20 years of experience in the fire service, currently serving as Captain with Rock Community Fire Protection District. He is also a Certified Instructor through the International Association of Arson Investigators. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety Administration from Grand Canyon University.

 

CALEB BARNES: IAAI/FIT, NAFI/CFEI – Omaha, AR

Caleb Barnes is a Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators and a Certified Fire Investigator Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigators. Caleb earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Administration/Fire Investigation through Columbia Southern University as well as his Associate’s Degree of Science from Oklahoma Panhandle State University. In addition, Caleb holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Sport & Exercise Science from West Texas A&M University. Caleb most recently served as Deputy State Fire Marshal for the State of Oregon Fire Marshal’s Office, and Deputy Fire Marshal for the Clark County Washington as well as Fire Marshal for the Hubbard Oregon Fire District. He is a trained reserve law enforcement officer and has testified as an expert witness in fire-related court proceedings.

Colorado

LEIF E. SKULBORSTAD: IAAI/FIT, NAFI/CFEI, CVFI, CFII, Castle Rock, CO

Leif Skulborstad is a Certified Fire Investigator Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigators, as well as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator, and a Certified Fire Investigator Instructor through the National Association of Fire Investigators. Leif has more than 28 years of public fire service experience, most of which has been with the Denver Fire Department where he currently serves as a fire investigator. Leif is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the National Association of Fire Investigators, and the International Association of Firefighters. He previously served as District 3 Director of the Colorado Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators Leif instructs fire investigation courses to various agencies and is an experienced expert witness in fire-related court proceedings.

 

GEORGE A. CODDING: IAAI/CFI, NAFI/CFEI – Durango, CO

George Codding is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has over 20 years of experience investigating fire scenes and determining the origin and cause of fires. George is also a member of the Boulder County Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team. He served as a volunteer firefighter for 27 years where he held the positions of lieutenant, captain, and battalion chief. He also has experience as a police officer and deputy sheriff.

George holds a juris doctor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and currently works in the criminal justice field. He has organized and implemented training for 7 state and international training conferences. George has teaching experience in law, methodology, and scientific/technical topics relating to fire investigation in Colorado and elsewhere in the United States as well as internationally in English, French, and Spanish. He is an Adjunct Instructor at Pikes Peak Community College Regional Law Enforcement Academy. George was also the principal editor of Fire Investigator, Principles and Practice to NFPA 921 and 1033, 5th Ed. (Jones & Bartlett 2018) and is engaged in the editing and rewriting of the 6th Edition, which is expected to be published in 2021.

 

JAMES J. CULLEN: IAAI/FIT, NAFI /CFEI – Denver, CO

James Cullen is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He is also a Fire Investigator Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigators. James holds memberships in the National Association of Fire Investigators, and the International Association of Arson Investigators. James began his career in 1995 as an emergency medical technician at St. Anthony Hospital and a firefighter/emergency medical technician with the Federal Heights Fire Department. Since 1999, James has been a member of the Denver Fire Department where he has held the positions of firefighter, hazardous materials technician and currently a fire investigator serving in that capacity for the past 8 years. He is an experienced expert witness.

 

REGINA M. DALY: IAAI-FIT // NAFI-CFEI – Boulder, CO

Regina Daly is a Fire Investigation Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigators and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. She has been a volunteer firefighter for the Four Mile Fire Protection District for more than 10 years and was named fire marshal/investigator of the department in 2014.

Regina is a member of the Boulder County Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team and has progressed from technician to vice president. She has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Arizona, a Master of Science in Astrophysics from the International School of Advanced Studies in Trieste, Italy, and a Master of Science in Physics from Michigan State University. Regina is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Colorado Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators, and the National Association of Fire Investigators.
