DENNIS J. MIGNOGNO: NAFI-CFEI // CVFI-CFII – Lincoln, DE

Dennis Mignogno is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator, and Certified Fire Investigator Instructor through the National Association of Fire Investigators. Dennis has 31 years of experience in the fire service, including five years as a fire chief. He also has 20 years of experience in the field of automotive repair and 22 years of experience as a forensic examiner. Dennis has instructed many seminars across varied topics, including Vehicle Fire Investigation, Mechanical Failure, and Forensic Photography. He is a member in good standing of the National Association of Fire Investigators, the International Association of Arson investigations, and the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators. Dennis is also a Forensic Locksmith trained by the Associated Locksmiths of America. He has testified as an expert witness in both state and federal court.

 

G. DANIEL WILLIAMS: IAAI-CFI // NAFI-CFEI, CVFI – Wilmington, DE

Daniel Williams is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, as well as a Certified Fire and Explosion and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator though the National Association of Fire Investigators. He is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators and the National Association of Fire Investigators.  Dan also serves on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.  He has over 25 years of law enforcement experience and retired as a Detective Corporal in April of 2015.  Dan served as a Fire Investigator for with the Glassboro Police Department of Glassboro, NJ for over fifteen years. Dan has instructed training on juvenile fire setters, as well as evidence collection. He is a court qualified expert witness in the State of New Jersey.

 

DANIEL W. MAXWELL: IAAI-CFI // NAFI-CFEI, CVFI – Baltimore, MD

Daniel Maxwell is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators  and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has over thirty-three years of experience in the fire service and law enforcement. Daniel has worked for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue for over thirty years, and has served as a Fire Investigator for over twelve years. He is a court qualified expert witness in the State of Maryland. Daniel is also a Nationally Registered Paramedic through the National Registry of EMTs and a Certified Hazardous Materials Technician through the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

 

WILLIAM E. RIEGER II: IAAI-CFI // NAFI-CFEI – Woodbury, NJ

Bill Rieger II is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. Bill served as Fire Marshal and Fire Coordinator of Gloucester County, NJ for nearly 20 years. He taught as a senior instructor at the Gloucester County Fire Academy for 20 years as well. Additionally, he has been with the Woodbury Fire Department since 1987, serving in various line officer positions, as well as a fire official, fire marshal, and deputy fire marshal. Bill currently serves a volunteer firefighter for the department and has done so since 1971.

Bill is a court-qualified expert witness and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Trenton State College. He currently has membership in several organizations, some of which include the International Association of Arson Investigators, the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and South Carolina Chapters of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the National Association of Fire Investigators, and the New Jersey Fire Prevention & Protection Association.

 

JOSEPH G. KOTORA, SR.: IAAI-CFI, CFI(V), CECT // NAFI-CFEI, CVFI // ASE-Certified Mechanic – East Brunswick, NJ

Joe Kotora is a Certified Fire Investigator and Certified Evidence Collection Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigators and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He also has a Motor Vehicle Fire Credential Endorsement through the International Association of Arson Investigators. Additionally, Joe is a Certified Mechanic through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence and holds licenses as a fire inspector, housing code official, fire protection official, and inspector of hotels and multiple dwellings.

In the public sector, Joe actively serves as a fire marshal for the Borough of Helmetta. With more than 25 years of experience in the fire service, he has received multiple commendations at the state and local levels.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Vocational Education from Trenton State College. He is also a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the National Association of Fire Investigators, the New Jersey State Fire Prevention Association, the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators, the Middlesex County Fire Prevention Association, and the National Fire Officers Association.

 

THOMAS W. DOLAN: IAAI-CFI – Harrisburg, PA

Tom Dolan is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, a Certified Fire Investigator I through the Office of the Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner, and a Certified Fire Investigator through the National Board of Fire Service Professional Qualifications. Tom has more than 20 years of experience in the fire service and is currently a detective with the Carlisle Police Department. He reviews case files for cold fires and conducts fire investigations for the Borough of Carlisle, many of which have led to guilty pleas for arson. In addition, Tom has investigated several cases related to homicides, sexual assaults, robberies, and frauds. Tom is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators and the Pennsylvania Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.
