ROSE M. ROZMIAREK: IAAI/CFI,  NAFI/CFEI, CVFI – Overbrook, KS

Rose Rozmiarek is a Certified Fire Investigator and a Certified Evidence Collection Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigators. She is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. Rose has more than 32 years of experience in full-time law enforcement and over 17 years of experience as a volunteer firefighter. She was the Chief of Investigations at the Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office from 2001 to 2016 and a certified accelerant detection canine handler for seven years. Rose has been conducting fire investigations in the private sector since 2013 and is currently licensed in Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri.  She holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Washburn University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminalistics from Michigan State University. Rose is an adjunct professor at Washburn University and has conducted training sessions at various professional organizations and public section agencies. Rose is a court-qualified expert witness in the state of Kansas. She is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, currently serving as the Award Committee Chair and a Chapter liaison.

MICHAEL P. CAIN: IAAI/FIT,  NAFI/CFEI – Hutchinson, KS (Greater Wichita Area)

Michael Cain is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators as well as a Certified Fire Investigation Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigations. He has over twenty-seven years of experience in the fire service. Michael has worked for the Hutchinson Fire Department in Hutchinson, KS since 2001 and had held the position of Fire Prevention Inspector since 2014. He is also a Certified Fire Inspector through the NFPA and an NWCG Wildland Fire Investigator. Michael is a court qualified expert in the State of Kansas.

LUKE McCORMICK: NAFI/CFEI – Great Bend, KS

Luke McCormick is a Certified Fire and Explosion investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of fire and has served as a firefighter, fire investigator, and fire chief. A graduate of Barton Community College, Luke has gone on to serve the Great Bend Fire Department. He is also a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators, the International Association of Arson Investigators Kansas Chapter, and the National Fire Protection Association.
