TIMOTHY A. IMAN: IAAI/CFI, IAAI/FIT(V), NAFI/ CFEI, CVFI Butler, PA

Timothy Iman is a Certified Fire Investigator and Certified Fire Investigation Technician with the Motor Vehicle Fire endorsement through the International Association of Arson Investigators and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has over 20 years of experience in the fire industry in various positions, including his current position as a Firefighter and Lead Fire Investigator for the Butler Bureau of Fire in Pennsylvania. Tim has also served as Lieutenant, Captain, and Assistant Chief for the Butler Township Fire District and has served as a professional fire investigator for other private companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Administration/Fire Investigation from Columbia Southern University. He is also an active member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the National Association of Fire Investigators, the International Association of Fire Fighters, and the Pennsylvania Association of Arson Investigators.

 

DAVID A. ROCK:  Professional Engineer – Philadelphia, PA

David A. Rock is a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Dave holds a Pennsylvania professional engineer license and has over 10 years of experience in the design and schematics analysis of electro-mechanical and industrial systems as well as extensive facilities electrical engineering experience. He has served as a lead electrical design and project engineer covering multiple facilities supporting commercial, institutional, educational, and healthcare industries. Dave performs forensic engineering analysis on location and in laboratories. He performs destructive and nondestructive testing and analysis of electrical systems and components as needed in subrogation cases.

 

MICHAEL F. DRUSHEL: IAAI/CFI, NAFI/CFEI, NAFI/CVFI, Pittsburgh, PA

Michael Drushel is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has over 28 years of experience in the fire service, including over 20 years of examining fire scenes and determining areas of origin and causes of fires. He currently holds certifications as a Fire Investigator and a Fire Inspector I through the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University and is the 1st Vice President of the Pennsylvania Association of Arson Investigators. Mike is an experienced expert witness in civil litigation cases.

 

HEATHER CATE: IAAI/CFI – Stewartstown, PA

Heather Cate is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, and a Fire Inspector I through the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute. Heather has over 21 years of experience in fire service, all of which she served at the Baltimore City Fire Department in Baltimore, Maryland. She began her career with the department in 1999 serving as a firefighter. Heather was later promoted to lieutenant in 2007. She is currently a fire captain/investigator spending the last 12 years determining the cause and origin of fires. Heather is a member in good standing with the International Association of Arson Investigators and the National Association of Fire Investigators. She is also an experienced expert witness in fire-related court proceedings.

 

LISA BRENEMAN: IAAI/CFI,  NAFI/CFEI, CVFI – Lancaster, PA

Lisa Breneman is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators, as well as a Certified Evidence Collection Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigators. Lisa has over twenty years of experience in fire service, including roles as fire investigator in both the public and private sector. She is also a certified EMT and certified in HAZMAT Operations. Lisa is an active member of the Pennsylvania Association of Arson Investigators, and has held positions with the organization since 2006. She currently serves as their 1st Vice President. Lisa is also a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators, the International Association of Arson Investigators, and the International Code Council.

 

THOMAS W. DOLAN: IAAI/CFI, – Carlisle, PA

Thomas Dolan is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators. He is a Certified Fire Investigator I through the Office of the Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner and a Certified Fire Investigator through the National Board of Fire Service Professional Qualifications NFPA 1033. Thomas has over 20 years of experience in the fire service and has investigated more than 600 fires. He is currently a detective with the Carlisle Police Department and a case file reviewer for “cold fires.”

 

JOSEPH G. KOTORA SR.: IAAI/CFI,  NAFI/CFEI, CVFI, ASE Certified Mechanic – East Brunswick, NJ

Joseph Kotora is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. Joseph is an active fire marshal for the Borough of Helmetta, NJ. With over 25 years of experience in the fire service, Joseph has received multiple commendations at the state and local level. Joseph is also an ASE Certified Mechanic through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. He holds licenses as a fire inspector, housing code official, fire protection official, and inspector of hotels and multiple dwellings. Joseph earned his bachelor of science degree in Industrial Education at Trenton State College. He is also a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the National Association of Fire Investigators, and the New Jersey State Fire Prevention Association.

 

WILLIAM E. RIEGER II: IAAI/CFI, NAFI/CFEI, – Woodbury, NJ (Philadelphia area)

Senior Fire Analyst William Rieger II is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. In addition to being a court-qualified expert witness, William was the Gloucester County Fire Marshal from 1989 until 2009. He was also the Gloucester County Fire Coordinator from 1989 until 2008, and is currently a senior instructor at the Gloucester County Fire Academy. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at Trenton State College. He is also a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators and the National Association of Fire Investigators.

 

NICOLAS LOFFREDO: NAFI/CFEI – Avis, PA

Nicholas Loffredo is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has 19 years of experience in the fire industry in various positions, including Deputy Fire Marshal and, most recently, Corporal for the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop F, in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. Nicholas Loffredo is a court-qualified expert witness.
