WILLIAM “MICHAH” GAMMON: IAAI/CFI, NAFI/CFEI, NAFI/CVFI – Clarksville, TN (Nashville area)

Micah Gammon is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) with a Vehicle Investigator Endorsement through the International Association of Arson Investigators. Micah is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI) through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has over 12 years of experience in the fire industry in various positions. He has a Bachelor of Science in Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigation from Eastern Kentucky University. He holds an active membership with the National Association of Fire Investigators and the International Association of Arson Investigators’ Tennessee Chapter.

NANCY K. CARPENTER: IAAI/CFI – Chattanooga, TN 

Nancy Carpenter is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) through the International Association of Arson Investigators. She has over twenty-eight years of experience in the fire services and was an active paramedic for fourteen years. Nancy retired after twenty-eight years with the City of Garland Fire Department in Garland Texas. During her career, she has served as a firefighter, fire investigator, paramedic, and the program coordinator of the juvenile fire setter program. Nancy has testified as an expert witness in dozens of criminal trials over her career. She began investigating fires in 1992 and continues to demonstrate her knowledge, training, and experience as an expert in fire investigations. Nancy is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson.

 

TROY A. LUMLEY: IAAI/CFI, NAFI/CVFI – Greater Knoxville, TN area

Troy Lumley is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has twenty years of experience in the fire service and currently serves as the Assistant Chief of the South McCreary Fire and Rescue Department in Pine Knot, Kentucky. He has also served as a Correctional Counselor for the Federal Bureau of Prisons for over two decades. Troy holds an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach, AL. He is a member in good standing of the Kentucky Association of Arson Investigators and the Correctional peace Officer Association.

 

DALE H. BURRESS: IAAI/CFI- Drummonds, TN

Dale Burress is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators. He has over 40 years of experience in the fire service, including positions as a Fire Chief, Fire Investigator, and Training Officer. Dale has been working as a private fire investigator since 2006. He is a member of a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators and the National Association of Fire Investigators. Dale is also a Certified Hazardous Materials Technician.
