SHAWN MADDOX: IAAI/CFI, Stuarts Draft, VA
Shawn Maddox is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators. He is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators, Virginia Fire Prevention Association, the International Association of Fire Chiefs, and the Virginia Fire Chiefs Association.

Shawn has more than 15 years of fire service experience, including serving as firefighter, paramedic, and deputy fire marshal/captain currently employed by the County of Albemarie Virginia. He is also an instructor for the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Fire Programs. Shawn has served in the US Army National Guard as an enlisted soldier for 8 years. He earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University and his Bachelor’s Degree of Science from Eastern Mennonite University. Shawn is an experienced expert witness in fire-related court proceedings.

 

JONATHAN L. WILLIAMS: IAAI/FIT, NAFI/CFEI, Palmyra, VA
Jonathan Williams is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators and a Certified Fire Investigation Technician through the International Association of Arson. He has more than 20 years of fire service experience with the Charlottesville Fire Department where he has served as Firefighter, Medic, Haz-Mat Technician, and currently as Captain/Assistant Fire Marshal. He is certified by the Virginia Department of Fire Programs as a Fire Investigator, Fire Instructor I & II, Fire Officer I & II and Firefighter I & II. Jonathan is also a Certified Fire Inspector I & II by the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications and an Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate by the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. In addition to his fire service experience, Jonathan has experience in law enforcement once serving as a Police Officer and SWAT Team member with the Lake Monticello Police Department, and as a Sergeant Deputy Sheriff and SWAT Team member with the Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University and is currently working towards his Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Administration. Jonathan has taught courses in Firefighter I & II, Haz-Mat, Fire Inspections, Fire Investigation, and First Aid.

 

ROBERT W. HENDERSON: IAAI/CFI,  NAFI/CFEI, CVFI – Charlottesville, VA
Senior Fire Analyst Robert Henderson is a Certified Fire Investigator by the International Association of Arson Investigators and by the Commonwealth of Virginia Fire Marshal’s Academy and the National Fire Academy, as well as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He is a court-qualified expert witness. Robert has served over 30 years as a professional police officer for the Fairfax County Police and Virginia State Police. He is a Certified Bomb Technician by the FBI/US ARMY Hazardous Devices School, Certified Hazard Materials Technician by the Department of Homeland Security, and a licensed private investigator in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Robert is a member of the board of directors of the Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.

 

ARNO J. RANDALL: IAAI/CFI,  NAFI/CFEI, CVFI – Hampton, VA

Arno Randall is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, as well as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He is a court-qualified expert witness. He has more than 25 years of experience in the fire service and law enforcement and recently retired after 12 years as the Deputy Fire Marshal for the City of Hampton, Virginia. He is a certified Hazardous Material Technician, Environmental Crimes Investigator, and Fire Inspector.

 

TRAVIS W. COLLINS: IAAI/CFI – Roanoke, VA
Travis Collins is a Certified Fire Investigator through the IAAI. He has over 27 years of experience in the fire service including serving as a firefighter, hazardous materials specialist, heavy and tactical rescue responder, fire/EMS instructor, and field training officer. He currently serves as a lead fire investigator and evidence custodian with the Roanoke Fire-EMS Department. Travis holds certifications as a Hazardous Materials Specialist through the VA Department of Emergency Management, an Instructor Level II through the VA Department of Fire Programs, and a Certified Property and Evidence Manager through the International Association of Property and Evidence Technicians (IAPE).

 

BILLY CLARK: IAAI/CFI(V),  NAFI/CFEI, CVFI – Stuarts Draft, VA
Billy Clark is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has over forty years of experience in the fire service and law enforcement. Billy has held various investigative positions for fire departments and law enforcement agencies since 1989. Additionally, he has worked as a private fire investigator since 2001. Billy is a court qualified expert witness in the State of Virginia. Billy has also taught numerous courses and published articles in the fields such as fire investigation procedures, explosives, and evidence collection.

 

LEE E. MOONEY: CFI – Hanover, VA
Lee Mooney is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, and he has 13 years of experience in fire and arson investigation. He has more than 30 years of progressive experience with the Hanover County Fire & Emergency Medical Services Department, currently serving as a battalion chief. Lee also served as an accelerant detection canine handler for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Coupled with his fire service experience, Lee is a graduate of J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, where he earned an Associate’s degree in Fire Science. He is an adjunct instructor for the Virginia Department of Fire Programs, where he has been involved with the Virginia Fire Marshal Academy for 15 years, teaching courses in the fire investigator and law enforcement schools. Lee is also a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Virginia Fire Prevention Association, and the Central Virginia Fire and Arson Association. He is also an elected member of the Board of Directors for the Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.
